Peanut Butter and (Big) Chocolate Chips Cookies

Let's cute to the chase! When peanut butter is in the game, it's a serious matter.
I wanted to try out recipes to make cookies, biscuits and everything possible with PB for a while now, but in the end, this recipe was given to me recently by a dear friend, and I've already made three batches. They are scrumptious, you will want to make them again. Over and over.

Preheat the oven at 190C
In a bowl, mix everything following this order:

100gr soft or melted butter
100gr peanut butter
1 cup 50/50 granulated sugar and light brown sugar.
Few drops of vanilla extract
1 egg
1 cup flour, with  1 tsp baking powder

Add chocolate chips (bought or homemade, your call. I much prefer the homemade, like that I can make them as big as I want)
Shape little balls of dough and place on an baking sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 mins.

Once the cookies are light golden brown, take them out and let them cool on the sheet.

Hot or cold, they are delicious. They are soft and chewy. They are perfection itself.
Peanutty enough, one can taste the PB even better when the cookies are cool (in my opinion).

To your taste buds, from me, with love.

#3 Inspiration Well Being

Well Being

I am more and more into yoga exercises, core building, running etc. It provides a real balance in my life, between work in the office or at home, and my relationship.
When I work out, it's time that I take for myself, and it allows me to think and express myself differently.

I've started running over a year ago. At first, it was on and off, with lapse of time when it was more off than on, to be honest. But for the past few months, I run several times a week to every day. It gives me so much energy, it's addictive!

I've recently started yoga as well. I have back problems, and my osteopath advised me to do some Pilates. After a while, I mixed yoga and Pilates, and I am now working on some very cool yoga positions, that I am starting to share on my Instagram.

Yoga can be tough or relaxing, depending on how far I push myself, and on the positions I exercise. It's all about synchronizing the breath and the moves. Every move has its importance, and you'll need to listen to your body. The mind can trick you, but not the body. It will be the first to tell you to stop, or if you're doing it right.
There are a lot of different yoga, to practice according to your needs and will.

Today, it is all about Inspiration, but soon, I'll share some DIY to take care of yourself, such as bath bombs, soaps, moisturizer, exfoliate etc. Be patient, I'm working hard on them.

This woman brings together her womanhood and her motherhood through gorgeous pictures with her daughter.
Her skills are mind-blowing. She truly is an inspiration.
She teaches yoga on her own, or with her husband, and she also has a brand with a friend (here).

Madeline

>The translation is here <

DIY: Bangles Make Over

Sometimes I buy stuff I don't even know why. And even if it's left somewhere in a room, under a bed, in a press etc. I always find a DIY to make with that random stuff. That's what it's all about, isn't it?

I thrifted these bangles few years ago, at the car boot sale if my memory serves me well, on a rainy Sunday.
I don't think I have ever worn them yet to be honest, but after last night, it's about to change!

This DIY is completely inexpensive, very quick and totally up to your imagination.
You can draw whatever design you want, using whatever color you like.

                                                          _________________________________

I chose brown as it goes very well with the dark red of the bangles, but you can adapt depending on yours. In the end, I didn't use the masking tape, but feel free to use it (the knife is to cut the tape).

                                                             __________________________________________

> Translation

Madeline

Mini Chocolate Nest Cupcakes

There is nothing easier than a cupcake. Quick and easy to bake, they also rhyme with afternoon tea, Christmas, Summer time, party, playing and fun. With all the different cases, topping and flavors, they are the little cutie everyone wants!

Easter was only few days ago, so I'm still on time-ish.
Without further ado, from me to you, here are the Mini Chocolate Nest Cupcakes:

Ingredients:

- 125gr soft butter
- 60gr sugar
- 2 eggs
- 125gr flour
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 1/2 tsp of baking soda
- pinch of salt
- 2 Tbsp of lemon juice (I also added three drops of cooking lemon essential oil)
Some milk to smooth out the dough
_____________

- Dark and milk chocolate
- Corknflakes
- Chocolate eggs

Preheat the oven at 180C and line the cupcake cases in a muffin tin.

Mix all the ingredients together following the order of the ingredients list, pour the dough in the cupcake cases and bake for approximately 20mins.
Let them cool down.

While the cupcakes are in the oven, make the nests.
Melt some chocolate over a double boiler or carefully in the microwave.
Once melted, add cornflakes to the chocolate, and shape the nests with a fork (the fork will allow you to get rid of the excess of chocolate).

Make sure that the nests can hold an egg or two.

Let dry. It took mine roughly 30mins.

Once the cupcakes are cool, pour a little bit of melted chocolate on top and stick a nest over each cupcakes. Add the eggs and let dry few hours to overnight.

I made these the day before for my co-workers.

Happy Easter my little bunnies!

Ben
