DIY tea bags

I love tea, a bit more everyday. It's your choice between whole leaves or "dusty" tea bags, there are tons of flavors and benefits, and the nice extras on the side (tins, cups, infusers etc.).
The tea press is getting bigger every month ;)

Knowing this, the following DIY goes without saying. What would you say to tea bags you can personalize?
You can also find articles about mugs to go with this one. We think about everything in here ;)

Supply:
- Tea bags
- Scissors
- Needle and thread (suitable for food use)
- Bulk tea

1/ Cut the desired shape in the tea bag, sew it but not to the end. Leave roughly a space the size of your thumb, you'll need it for step 2.

2/ Fill up your tea bag with the bulk tea, and finish the sewing to close the bag and with the remaining thread, make a string to the end of which you can stick a cute label with the name of your tea.

3/ Boil the kettle and enjoy a lovely cup of tea anywhere you go

They can make a cute present for a tea lover, or make life easier for you. I've realized that pretty much all my teas were in bulk, and it makes it a bit more difficult to take some to work for example. Few tea bags later, and I can enjoy a cuppa at work.

PS: Why not making a set as a present for someone? Madeline has some lovely ideas to customize cups for you.
